Does anyone know of any web sites or publications that cover the topic of modeling with foam board (or a combination of foam board and styrene?) Or experience?!

What do you mean by "foam board"? Foam core (foam sandwiched between layers of paper)? Or something else?

For Foamcore with a skin of styrene, check Scale Modeling Online Clinics from HORailroad.com and look for the foam core / veneer clinic.
