Fiddlers Green Sopwith Triplane

    Here are pics of my latest model . I did not add the intimate detail (like rigging) that many of the other forum members do - I just wanted something that would go together quickly and look good from a distance. Also, I have always found building wings difficult so doing it 3 times for this one was like shock therapy.
    I did have some problems with the fit between the lower wing and the fuselage. The location shown on the fuselage is too small and must be lengthened.
    BTW - I'm a long time card modeler but a brand new Forum member.

    Welcome to the forum. Your tri-plane looks great; and the D7 in the background looks good too! I don't like rigging either - I always mess up the attachment points. I'm still searching for a good way to do this.

    i love planes of this era and plan one day to build one very soon. awaiting supplies (like card material) then i am at it
