Cool now just make sure that you break it in slow and read that book, Red
ya hte last thing you want to do is brake it in improperly.if so say bye bye brand new hpi .25
Well hows the break in proccess going for you?
not good having a hard time getting it started the manual said only take it 1/4 to 1/2 way on the trottle. Done with that then i went to go full speed for a couple of seconds but it only went like 15mph. I'm hoping that its because im running it too rich but should it only be going that fast even without it being tuned or is there a problem
From your other post you said that your h/s was 4 1/2out , thats alot your really running rich and thats okay for breakin . As you move along you should notice an increase in power as the motor breaks in .Youll need to at one point start leaning the top out as you do the true power well start to come.
ok good i just wasnt sure even thoguh in was running rich that it should be only goin 15mph but whatever can i go from 4 1/2 right down to 3 turn or not
Did you get it all worked out?
nope as you could tell from my other post
little set back no big deal youll get it fixed and things well be fine , mean while get that .15 going.
i got the differential open but cant find the problem
No broken or worn parts?
not that i can see
Follow the rest of the drive train for worn or broken parts , pull the crystals from your traxxas and see if they fit your savage.
