Faux Fur Grass in March 2005 Railroad Model Craftsman

    I have an article in the March 2005 Railroad Model Craftsman showing how to make model grass using dyed faux fur. It is centered on dead grass for California modeling but also demostrates green grass, bushes and brush. The original web article is at:

    I have visited your site before and have bookmarked your "Grass" tutorial for when I am ready to scenic my layout.

    I must say you do good work. I might even be able to use some of your tips on my N Scale layout.

    How does grass look in HO

    Some one asked how the faux fur grass works for HO. Here is a closup of the plush felt with a Preiser HO figure.
