This is a small dairy farm that utilizes items scrounged from bottle caps (silo) and kit bashed (?) from Walthers lumber yard (barn). I simply placed two of the lumber sheds face to face to make the small barn...pretty much a "no-brainer." For the silo I glued a number of bottle caps on top of each other.

N-joy,

Nice job upguy!
I'm a bit of a kitbashing nut myself. Sort of a "hobby within a hobby" for me.
You better fence in that cattle though, before they wander into the path of the Amtrak! ;)

Charlie,

Yes, I am aware that the cows may stray, but it is prototypical in a twisted sort of way.... See my thread in The Real Thing under the topic Railroad Casualty.

upguy, what bottle caps did you use for the silo? That looks like just what I need for my farm scene.

Catt,

I used the bottle caps from Watkins, gourmet spices for the lower part of the silo, and the cap from Watkins, vanilla shampoo for the cap. The sizes that I used may be discontinued by Watkins, so the only way to get them may be from a Watkins dealer that has some old stock.

The good news is...my wife used to sell Watkins Products, so let me know if you can't get them from a source near you. I can provide the bottles (even some full ones if you want the product). Just email what you need. :D
