Does anyone know how or if you can add a non Bachmann analog controller to the EZ Command to run your DC train..

Short answer is no. The DCC controller always has voltage on the track whether or not
the train is running, and another DC control would interfere with it. You can, however,
run a DC loco with the EZ Command by selecting address 10. :thumb: :thumb:

I think I didn't make myself clear..

There is an option to interface a DC controller through the bachmann ez command (DCC).
The documentation shows a bachmann analog (DC) controller used..

I want to use my non bachmann Analog controller.

Is anyone using a not bachmann through there ez command system?

Lyjo, I took a chance and wired in my mrc 260, didn't work. But I didn't hurt anything either.

Does anyone have a bechman dc transformer to test the ouput on ?

The wire to connect the two is a stereo plug (3 wires) wondering if there is something different on the non track wire?

On the Bachmann analog controller.

In the first place they only use 2 wires, the 3rd connector on the plug is not used...I took one apart to see.

Max output on the voltage is 18.45 volts DC no load. Just tested it.

As long as the polairty is correct I don't see why another brand controller couldn't be made to work but you could fry the EZ Command.
