Is anyone in the US running a Euro layout? If so, who do you use for your supplies of rolling stock and locos?

    european N in NA

    Hi s2ktaxi

I have some european stuff, but honestly haven't
bought any here. I do browse this site however

They do seem to carry a large inventory.

i model euro [bavaria mostly] in N scale and have ordered/bought several hundreds of dollars of stuff from euro rail hobbies.

they are a far better price than even the wholesale prices you can get inside the u.s.

brands i buy: fleischmann, roco for trains.
    vollmer, faller for buildings.
noch, faller, busch, brawa for scenic items.

be prepared to wait for things coming from canada, and be aware that this is mostly due to waiting on the stuff to get here from europe ;)

everything has gotten to me eventually.

i have also bought fleischmann stuff from west toys in devon, england. good prices there also.

i think the u.s wholesaler for fleischmann holds the prices artifically high, so i buy outside of the u.s. at a great discount.

i buy american rolling stock from
[say hey to mark for me] they have the best service!
mark will be happy to order you anything in the walther's catalog, and he does offer discounts off of the catalog price.

and lastly, there is ebay ;)

i will continue to buy things from both eurorailhobbies and 4nscale because i get both great service and great prices.
