Engine on a flatcar!

I saw this on a siding near the NS Training center in McDonough, GA after I got off work. Fortunately, I had my new "cheapo" digital camera with me and managed some good shots of it. This could be good to model. First time I've seen an engine shipping like this.

I came upon an auction last week (ended now) for a Prime Mover V16. I was actually going to do the same thing had I won it

Are you sure that's not the new crew-less, cab-less "no-frills" engine...? It is at the front of the train...! ;) :D

Now that you mention it, the NS Training center does have remote operated engines....

I wonder how much Athearn or Atlas would charge for an "engine"?sign1 For a cheap digital camera, those are some good pictures. I use a Sony FD-100 only 1.2MP!! A friend has a 5.0MP and claims my Sony is still better!:D
