...ok, here's a question for all the passenger train experts out there, I'm going to be getting a Sunset brass model of the SP&S #700, this is identical to an NP 4-8-4 Northern, in fact these are the steam engines that gave rise to the class name "Northern". Although these locomotives did haul freight occasionally, their main duties were in high speed passenger service, SP&S used the 700 in passenger service hauling that portion of the Empire Builder down the Columbia Gorge into Portland. If I'm going to use this on our club layout I need a passenger consist to pull...thus my question for you is this:
What type cars were they and who makes any models of them?
