I've had this template for a while and never got around to it. Hopefully this will motivate me to try it, lol. looking forward to more.
That is looking very good! I like the detailing on the struts. Is that cardstock, or card-board filler?
Great laminating. I see that the pods is closed. do you plan to do the interior later or leave it that way? The edges are rough at his stage, are you going to place a strip of paper around the edges? Another technique that I use for smoothing the edges is the use of fine sandpaper finished off with a fine jewelers file. One more question, What chapter color is it going to be?

i used corrugated cardboard between the layers. but i pressed it together
between two telefonbooks over night. sorry i did not made a detail picture of it, so you can not see it clearly. the other layers are made of card from "cornflakes" boxes. or pizzaboxes , i can not remember.

the pod will be closed. that here is a testbuild, just wanted to know where the problems are. yes , i will made a strip of paper around the edges. see later pictures. no coloring will be done. i will keep it blank.

I see that the hard part is over. The next stage is what I call the fun part, making up the details. Looking good.
Wow, I would probably have chewed my fingers off if I had done that much detail
