Sorry to hear about Tootie, Dave. . .

We lost our cat of 13 years not so long ago and it's hard no matter when or how it happens. My condolences to you and yours.

    Good morning all.
Don't get on here very often, work and home commitments, but i need to ask a favour.
I know that many of you love and cherrish your pets. Please check out this site , and add your name to the petition. The more pressure that can be put on the Irish Government, from around the world, to accept responsibility for the care of animals, the better.
Thank you for your time, i'm off to hug me dogs and cats, and try to get me glue off Elliott(Dobberman X)

WARNING: Some of the images of the abused animals are quite graphic.

hi 'the micromodels builder' I had a westie as well, she died a couple of years ago while I was away on holiday. My mother was looking after her at the time and my mother was gutted. She didn't know how to tell me when I got back home. Demi (named after demi moore) had a massive heart attack and would have died even if she would have been at the vets.
I could never build up the courage to get another dog, but if I did it would be a westie.

    our sheltie

Our Sheltie Abbie died of renal failure 7/2006....she was 8 years old...we really miss her but we got a new puppy, a male sheltie named Marty who is now about 8 months old..he's not nearly as smart as was Abbie....but he is a lot calmer....she only weighed 23 pounds...but she would attack a rhinocerous if she felt it was threatening someone in the family....Marty is a whole different personality...he is calm..likes eveybody..especially other dogs...and really loves cats...but is not nearly bent on pleasing the was Abbie...."all things great and small!"...this is "Marty" as he looks today....

This is Kaspa, a pedigree thing, has some collie in his genes according to his adoption papers. He also had several owners. After 2 couches and 2 fridges and far too many lost family meals I think we've figured why. This is a photo of him when we got him at 1 year old. He hasn't changed much in the last 4 years appart from a little op  and a little calmer - probably as a result.

Overal cute. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth as he's probably buried it in the garden by now.

Time to post about my buddy:

This is Arjay, a Miniature Australian Shepherd. He could be considered a 'rescue' dog, as our family rescued him from my sister's dog. This old coot of a dog actually grabbed the pup and *threw* him against the wall! My sister got up to intervene and somehow ended up tearing a hamstring in the process. So she asked us to look after the puppy. We did, and naturally the little booger grew on us. My parents let me keep him, so I picked out a bunch of names and did an elimination. The result was Arjay, after the raccoon in the Over the Hedge strip (I decided to just spell it out, because I couldn't think of anything to go with the acronym). This turned out to be rather prophetic, as Arjay is very sneaky and will steal food if he thinks he can get away with it.

He's also the most gregarious dog I've ever seen and thinks everyone likes him and wants to pet him. It's really bad with people who don't like him, because he thinks that if he simply stays around long enough and rubs himself against them, they *will* like him.

Here's my favorite baby picture of him:

And here he is all grown up:

I've taken a bunch of pics of him, so here's the album:

I love dogs! I have 3 dogs, a spotted dogs! They are the best, I can not imagine my life without them! At first I took only one dog, then I've made two more, Martin and Marie! My friends tell me, why? It is very difficult. you can not take care of them! But I said that I could! And I could! They live with me for 3 years and I'm happy! They are true friends! They resemble each other in color, but they have different characters! I love them!
