distance between levels

I was wondering how far apart did you build your uper and lower decks?
In your train room that is, not your back yard
And thanks to all that answer my newbie questions.

Hi,

if you're asking about track on two levels and how far apart they are I can tell you that in some places on my layout they are separated by only a couple of inches. I use retaining walls as a scenic device in these cases.

I have 14" of spacing between my levels (top of benchwork to top of benchwork) on my n-scale double deck.
