That is a beautiful shot... perfectly symmetrical. Monk would like that.
Gawd than engine looks naked without the nose door. I swear, next time we have it in Portola for a long layover, I'm going to fire up ye' 'ol trusty vinyl cutter and make a black door outline decal for it so it looks "normal" in photos. :thumb:
Also looks nekkid without the Jolly Roger flags in the flag corners too
Shallow Hal? Man, I forgot what a babe she is! :thumb:
Here's my work computers desktop:
Ok I just realized Disneyland RR has been on my desktop now for almost a year and I'm tired of looking at it. Here's a new one for a while until I find one I like better...
My desktop changes at least once a week. But here is the image currently up.
It is a Howard Fogg print from a old calendar that I have.
p.s. the reason for just the image, is that I could not get the print screen to work on my Dell laptop.
Hi...I used to have all sorts of train-related shots on my screen, but since I've been made a grandpa (twice..!!) this is my current one....
Being the huge missabe fan I am my desktop, is always the current photo of the month at the missabe railroad historical society's website, unlees I don,t like the photo, than I will have the same one for two months. Is that an SD-M all the way back in straight-track's post on the last page?
Here are my last desktop, and my current.
I hate icons. I hate clutter. I used to only keep one text file (for quick little notes) and the recycle bin on my desktop. I like deep, dark desktop images that are easy on the eye.
Both of these came from the Digital Blasphemy 3D Wallpaper free galleries.
This is the image I use for my desktop.
I take it KCS 666 is your favorite engine?
sign1Gee, how'd you guess?
sign1I have my ways... BTW, if 666 is supposedly 'cursed', then is it really a good idea to put it on nuclear waste duty or whatever that obviously hazardous load is?
Believe it or not, KCS 666 has NEVER been involved in a mishap and has required nothing more than routine maintenance. Not a bad track record for the triple six, otherwise known as the 'Devil Engine'.
That "nuclear waste" looks more like a wrapped boat to me.
Here is my newest wallpaper compliments of Jess W8JY from a photo he posted in the thread Amusing Observations. Used with his permission, nach. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Here's mine. I rotate through pics that I have taken. This is at the yard in Winnemucca, NV a couple of days ago.
