Thanks Paragon for the colouring tips. I've used your Mig-21 as a base to my model.
Soon I will post pictures with a Mig-19 with Romanian markings.

Ok, I took a little advice on this and added more sides to the part for the nose. I'm considering making noses the way I did with the Vautour from now on, but it will be rather difficult with my design method. We'll see.

Anyway, the F-16XL is now available on my website.

Thanks!

Meanwhile, I have a special message for David Berry (if he is a member of these forums): check the forums on my website, I'm going to let you choose the next model I design!

Anyone else interested in getting a request at the top of my list can head over there and see what its about.

I designed and built the first prototype in one day. In fact, I did it in less than 6 hours. I'm pretty impressed with myself. Expect colored versions soon.

Hope this doesn't steal your thunder Lex, though I was curious if you minded my trying the parts for your model's nose, just as a possible alternative.

For those of you who might not recognize it, this model is the J-10, China's most recent fighter.

I began work on the Me P.1112 today. It should be a pretty enjoyable model to build, since the majority of aircraft is integrated into the larger structures. For example, the cockpit is flush with the fuselage, and does not protrude, meaning the cockpit will simply be a texture on the nose, not additional parts. The only slightly odd parts will be the intakes, which are still just indents in the fuselage. I could make them simply in the texture if I wanted to, but I'm going to make them seperate parts instead.

Intakes aside, now that I've finished the 3-view drawings, the design process should go relatively quickly.

Here's the prototype of the Me P.1112 model! I had to print out a bunch of different versions because I kept messing up the nose section, but its finally all in order. I also had to make the rudders longer, they're too short on this version, but I doubt I need to test them. I'll probably have the colored version up later today.

I also figured I'd take a little time to show off the J-10s, in all three colors. You've all seen the green one already, so I'll start with the "standard" light blue (more like periwinkle really):

Then there's the light blue/green camo version. I probably need to redo this with darker colors, you can't tell the difference between it and the plain blue one from the pictures. The bottom is grey, unlike the blue one:

I also figured I'd compare mine to Lex's superb larger scale model of the J-10. That is a beta build I did to help him out, and I'm a little disappointed with it, not because of any flaw in the design, but because I didn't use thick enough paper during construction, and the result was...well, you can see:

Here's a small treat as well; this is a kitbash of Ojimak's Japanese F-16. It looks pretty good, but I wasn't very satisfied with it myself:

Here's a comparison of the three version of my J-10:

As I was taking these, I realized that I'm probably the only person in America with six models of the J-10. The white one is the prototype:

The prototyp of the Messerschmitt-project is looking very good and it`s a very welcome design.
Also the J-10 looks perfect, and with this pics you get my mouth watering, what I didn`t expect before
btw: the Chinese I think, have more than you:mrgreen:

Respect, you`re not only a perfect designer:thumb:

The Me P.1112 is now available on my website. Expect images later.

I'm interested in making the X-31 and the Junkers "Warthog" (Unnamed attack aircraft), as well as the Junkers EF 128, but I'm not sure if I want to make those just yet. So now its time to ask for suggestions again! What models would you all like to see?
