Czech steam locomotive 423.0 - download

Behold my fellow paper modellers! I have finally finished my locomotive model design! It is a Czech steam locomotive. You can see an unfinished technical build of this baby on this picture:
423_0_852050.jpg

The scale is H0 (1:87). The model consists of roughly 250 parts (cca. 100 unique part numbers), and takes two A4 pages. This is a picture of the pre-final stage of the model:

(+ 1 page of scheme and 2 pages of instructions). The instructions are in English. The model is in the vector .ps (postscript) or .pdf format, which is a widespread standard, so you shouldn't have any compatibility problems. Instructions are in .rtf, scheme .png.

Happy modelling!

P.S. If you start building this model, please let me know or even post pictures of your build! I would love to know, who is making my model.

Regards, Czestmyr.

How long have you been doing this Czestmyr?
The locomotive looks fantastic! I am also impressed by the excellent paint job, especially the light reflection on the body parts.
It looks as though you have been doing this for a very long time!

I very much look forward to building this beauty, but at the moment I have a full plate, so to speak.
When I do build it, I will post pics and let you know.

Oops, In all the excitement I forgot to say, Thank You Czestmyr!!!

Yes, indeed, it took me some hours of a pure time. I'd say roughly one day (24 hours), distributed among 3 weeks' time.

Thanks for acknowledgement

I ended up sending the postscript files to my wife at work, who opened them in Visio, then saved them as PDF's which she mailed back to me. I was going to suggest this would work but you beat me to the punch. Great looking model by the way! I'm kind of on a railroad bender and this fits right into my plans!

Ok. Now I want to build a locomotive.

Man, My list of "to do" models grows and grows

First, I want to build some planes.

Next, some sci-fi subjects,

Next, some mecha and robots,

now I want to build this locomotive. I need another life

Thanks for the models. Looks very nice.

I love steam locomotives, Thank you very much! Another model to add to the "gotta print it as soon as I get more ink" pile.

Ja, freiwillig, ich würde nur froh sein, dass sich mein Modell unter leute auf dem Internet verbreitet...
But please, don't misinterpret the origin of the model and let me know, whenever you post the model to another forum, so that I can read the people's reactions.

I tried this model the other day and ran into a problem immediately, the 'bump' part in the middle of the chassis is too short so you end up with a gap either side. Yes I know its an easy fix with photoshop but just wanted to mention it.
