Custom Boxcars on the RLK&T

I was out wondering the RLK&T right-of-way the other night and spotted this little local coming through with some newly completed custom painted boxcars.

The train was lead by a Lehigh & New England Alco S-2 #616.

The first car was a PRR three-bay ribbed side hopper by Roundhouse. The car was included because it recently had some upgrading done to it. Weight was added to it. The original permanent coal load had been removed and a new removable load had been added.

Wash: Polly Scale Grimy Black thinned 5:1 with blue windshield washer fluid

Sealer: Testors Dullcoat

Wheels:
Paint: Folk Art Asphaltum (476)
Sealer: Testors Dullcoat

Removable Coal Load:
Evergreen Plastic Sheet cut to fit.
Painted Folk Art Licorice (938)
Woodland Scenics Coal attached with 1:1 mixture of white glue and water.
Car bed was lined with waxed paper during the making of the load.
