.....well almost back! It's getting cold out there and the pond and garden are all tucked away for the winter. I have been contemplating getting back to model railroading as my winter hobby....I feel the pull and have been lurking here to get back in the mood.

I still have to finish trimming the summer overgrowth on the ski trails and get the old snomobile I picked up for $50 running so it will be ready to pack those ski trails when the snow flies BEFORE I will allow myself to uncover the train table.

But dark early mornings will be spent browsing the good ole Gauge forum for inspiration! I see I have alot to catch up on!!

Glad you are back, Ima...
What's on tap for that layout this winter ?

I'm starting back at my own layout this winter...warming up by getting old cars out of storage, replacing wheelsets, repairing or replacing couplers, making sure the weight is up to NMRA recommended amount, a bit of weathering, etc.

BUT, every time I get 6 or 8 done, I put a train together and run it around and around the main line like a kid with a new toy.

Keep us posted,
regards
Mike
