Here is the Sd40-2 after reapaint. It came as an Amtrak.

    The modifications done are:
-moved headlight from cab to nose
    -added bell to cab
    -added anticlimber
-modified handrails to work with anticlimber
-added ditchlights and rewired original headlights to work with ditchlights
    -added 3 sinclair ants.
    -removed improper mouldings on cab
-removed lights from rear of unit, replaced with single Pyle light

The plow that came with the unit is not worth putting on. I will install a new pilot when I find a suitable one.

Very impressive! It is going to be a great looking fleet of CP engines when you are finished.

Excellent job, that is a great looking locomotive. I am becoming increasingly interested in G scale, and may well weaken and buy a locomotive soon. I may go for CN and CP, as my first sight of North American trains was in Toronto.

A friend has a layout in the garden where I could run the locomotive although he is 50 miles away, so I may just have to lay some track of my own
