Well this morning I got up and saw it was raining out so I went down stairs to my empty basement. I have been planning a layouut for months (well at least for as long as I have been in this new house). I got together some old sheets of plywood and some peices of track which where from boxxed train sets of the past. Layed out the plywood and like a boy on chrismas morning started to build an ovel on the plywood. Once finished I went though my wall of layout boxes found the DCC box, pluged in the power.

Then after even more searching I found the perfect locomotive to run, my Broadway limited Hudson (TH&B #502) on the tracks and to my surprise it runs pretty good even on 15" radius curves:D .

Well I am happy know, and after a few hours of watching and lisening to the whistle blow my wife came down and told me I had to stop we where going out.

It was fun while it lasted and it's supose to rain tomorrow :) :)

Know I well have to get off my butt and start that layout.

Yeah, the Hudson's are nice with that.

    Especially a triple header of NYC #5433, TH&B # 501 and TH&B #502.

Ofcourse, I'm over 1,000 miles ( 87,100 Smiles ) from them, and the rest of my equipment.
