Cotton Belt FTs in combination?

I've got two AB sets of the Intermountain FT in Cotton Belt black widow livery, and very nice they are too!
I want to run them in combination, but would like to know whether:
1) The Cotton Belt ran them in combination;
2) If they did, was this as ABAB, or ABBA, or both?

Any help gratefully received!:thumb: :wave:

Your best bet for road-specific information would probably be a road-specific source: a book, historical society, or magazine article. Asking on a general model railroad forum will likely only get you generalized "Probably" and "They're your trains, do what you want!" type of replies.

I have this site in my favourites list, but plum forgot to check!!!:eek:ops:

Thanks for reminding me:thumb:
It clearly says that the Cotton Belt bought these as ABBA sets!!

That can be the case frequently, but there are also some folks with road-specific knowledge on some boards who will answer questions or point you to a good source.

There actually is a standard answer to the FT question, which is ABBA regardless of the roadname, although exceptions certainly exist.
