Das soll es werden ein Argoship für Leute mit kleinem Geldbeutel.

Oder für Eingeweihte die "USS Valley Forge" aus Silence Running.

Ziel ist ein Wiedererkennungseffekt des zukünftigen Modells.
Ich gehe also ganz entspannt an die Sache.....ein kleines Spaßprojekt, für einige Minuten am Tag (zum abschalten) nach der Arbeit.
Da ich keinen Plan habe, außer den Fotos auf meinem IPAd, baue ich nach Augenmaß.
Material, was rumliegt. Nur minimal.....

Dafür habe ich mir nachfolgendes Material zurecht gelegt und bearbeitet
Acrylkugeln.

Auf Pappe die Umrisse angezeichnet. On board the outline drawn.

Das ganze ausschneiden The whole cut

mit Holzkaltleim bestreichen und anschliesend begrünen. (Eisenbahnzubehör)

Das Ganze also 6 Mal. The whole than 6 times.

Für das Material war ich gezwungen vorher einige Pomeleo zu essen. Ich habe das Netzt benötigt, kann nun aber auch mit ruhigem Gewissen
vertreten "Sie sind lecker!".

Das so gewonnene Netz ziehe ich über die Acrylglaskuppel und verdrehe es unten. Halten tut alles mit Draht. kein kleben!

Jetzt kommen die weiteren Scheiben zum Einsatz. Mittig in das Loch wird der Drahtgnuppel gezogen und das ganze mit holzkaltleim verleimt.

Hier warten also 6 Habitate auf ihren Einsatz.

Die Reste eines Turmdrehkranes....hervorragend.

Als nächstes 6 1cm breite Streifen, aus Pappe, zum verdecken der Klebenaht.

Hier habe ich schnell mal vom Bildschirm abfotografiert wie es bei teuren Kits aussieht. Jetzt wo ich weiss wie es mit den Kuppeln klappt,
werde ich diese beim nächsten mal noch etwas flacher gestalten.
Übrigens dieses Modell hier kostet 950 USD ungebaut...als KIT.

Um die Kuppeln später ordentlich zu befestigen habe ich in das Krangestell ein Rohr eingeklebt.

Im Film und am teuren Modell ist ja der Wohnbereich für die Crew etwas aufwendiger zu bauen,

Den habe ich folgendermaßen gebaut. Hier habe ich Materialreste von meinem Shuttlebau genutzt.
