Good Morning !

John - Sorry to hear about the dog, that would be tough. I think that is the biggest disadvantage of having a pet.

Jeffrey - If that spray can was not in the background, I would think that SF 2099 was 1:1.

Mabelair - :welcome1:

Dennis - That LifeLock sounds pretty good! That's a great deal.

Didn't get as much wiring done last night as planned. Ran out of wire. Actually decided on changing type of wire being used. I have an abudance of 18 awg wire, and was twisting a pair together to use as one conductor. Obviously, the wire bundle is getting huge. And difficult to work with. Finished using the wire I had preparred, and decided just to go get some 16awg, to finish up a couple of sidings. So possibly finish that portion today. Next part is the switches, (Ross), considering using 4 conductor telephone wire. Any opinons about 24awg, thing its to small?

Good day in train room [lots of smoke so glad I had exhaust fan in ceiling]. Now off to Town Hall. BTW: Yanks, in the high 60's.

Chief as I point out earlier, just stand outside and face west, and you won't need that exhaust fan.

Kurt - You didn't say what direction that light flash came from. Could have been south of the MD line? Wouldn't be surprised, white flash from a room filled with obnoxious gas and a exhaust fan turned on. :v8:

We finally got over the cold and wet spell here. Temps back up to the 70's, that 60 degree weather if for the birds. We just arn't prepared for those conditions. Actually, had to go out and clean out the rain gutters. Since they are only 1 1/2 inch deep, when we get all that rain, we have had, it can make a mess. I mean we had at least 4" of rain in the past month. Sure am glad Spring is on the way, this has been one rough winter.

Have a great day all !!!!

Don - I think you have a very good theory there! :thumb:

Big front blew through here. Temps dropped from 75 to 60 in an hour. Heavy rain follwed by a hail storm (pea sized) by light rain. This is good as it was too warm here for this time of year. Need a little more winter :winter1:

Got my MTH Railroaders Club renewal notice - well - about half of it. That is how much is left from whatever the Post Office did to it. They did put the remains into a nice little apology envelope hamr

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Just dropped in to say hi and will be offline tomorrow for sure - training all morning and then to airport and a long long wait. Maybe airport will have a spare plug and wifi? Haven't downloaded emails since last week since there is no point, can't reply out of here? So, belly up to the bar for some root beer here by the pool and thinking of all you guys with snow and stuff just makes me want to STAY HERE! sign1 No, I really am homesick at this point, don't know how Roy does this for a living?! Training is great and will use all I learned here for sure. I think one thing I'll do for sure while laundry is running on Thursday is run some trains! One interesting thing, I was reading my book on a narrow gauge railway in Wales at lunch by the pool and one of the other trainees was reading that Ambrose book about the (I think) transcontinental railroad, so we had a nice talk comparing the books!

Back to Miami and fly home the following Monday. All free from the Company. Got to get things moved as wife has carpet cleaners coming tomorrow. Later.

Chief, Are you taking Pam along? sign1

Rained most of the day, but warm, into the low 60s. To be the same tomorrow. Well, it is better than the snow you guys out west are getting.

Dennis, haven't heard you mention the doll house project lately, it that on hold?

Brutus, That Ambrose book was his worst effort, just very slow moving. I read a lot but that one was so bad I had to push myself to finish it.

Don, It sounds like you got your whole years rainfall in little over a month.

Way to go Chief. We took a one week cruise to mexico on the Pacific coast. We ate and drank on the ship only, nothing while on mexican soil. THEN about a year later we went to cancun for a week and three out of four of us got sick there. my cousin went back a second time and his wife got home and ended up in the hospitol. so its the USA from now on. Chief have a good cruise but eat and drink on the ship. man its good to be the king... Sir James
