Hello All!

Frank53- Looking forward to seeing your completed layout. It should be great. Staying at home today as I've got a cold & do not want it to get worse. Take Care all.

Frank is inspiring me to add a second main line.

Keith, take care of that cold. I had three 5 yr old 'visitors' yesterday whilst their moms communed with coffee - and every one of them had a cold. I washed my hands a lot....

Now I think I have a signature...

you fellows are gracious and encouraging souls.

I have finished the very last layer of foam on the last section - done, finito!

Went down to the hobby shop and picked up a few switches and an extra cross over I anticipate needing. Found a box of track which included a full circle of o72 and a full circle of o54 - both in great shape - that's 32 pieces of track, plus a bunch of straights and half straights for $30.00. I will be fumbling with the track plan on and off all weekend and hopefully will have put together a winner by Sunday nite.

Also, picked up a few extra track lights. The top level is nicely lit, but the bottom level is dark.

Kurt, I'll give you a reason. It is much easier to cut foam that is 1" or less. Two inch foam is very hard to cut with the hot wire cutters that are on the market. Been there, done that. I wished I had used one inch foam.
Thanks for the tip! I'm ready to start buying for the Christmas layout...This will be a big help! Will the 1" hold up on 16" centers?
Looks like the Bucks will take it this year.
Glad to see Doug here!

Back from Miss Edna's. Got more MTH smoke fluid. Don B was right. It actually smokes better then JT's. Nothing wrong with JT's except it burns up faster. Well Don B told me to try it in all engines and I did. Does the job.

Glda to see Doug M here. Was fixing to send him the link. Doug, this site works better than CTT. CTT locks up, drops posts and I get impatient.

Off to the Anv. party. Later

announce1 Yes Buckeye - All is well in Buckeye Land for another year :thumb:

Chief - I guess you would have to define "Better". I have always like MTH smoke fluid, but it lingers in the air much longer than JT MegaSteam. And that is why I feel that JT is "Better" than MTH. It dosen't set off the Smoke Alarms!

Keith - Hope you are felling better.

A good game, Buckeye. It is nice to see Dr. John too. That sure was nice of you to wear that suit, Chief. My youngest would've loved to visit. Tigger is a favorite. You sure can't buy that much un-tubular (or is it non-) track for such a good price, Frank -- 027 forever...

I visited Nissan to drive their Versa and Toyota to see drive Yaris. Both nice cars. Any opinions or experiences with them?

Frank53! A 1688 set will greatly enhance the looks of your layout & they're less expensive than a Flying Yankee to boot!:thumb:sign1 You sure do have some nice trains for your layout though. I think that your Father would have enjoyed what you are doing with his Trains if he were still around. Take Care.
