Good Morning All from NE Ohio​

where the temp is 42 and heading to 62 with Clear Blue Skies. IT will be great to see the Sun again.

As Dave has said, the 'Models of Yesteryear' are out of production. So the collectors market is the only way to find them, being Ebay or shows. DiecastDirect usally only handles new things from the MFG. Brumm also made some steam powered trucks and cars in 1/43. The one I pick up at the show was Brumm.

My diecast car collection started with cars for the layout, then Road Champs came along with so many new cars from the 60's and 70's and at a great price, my collection just keep growing. And then Franklin Mint had there seires of 1/43 scale cars and so did Matchbox Collectables. It just never ends.

Good Morning All from NE Ohio​

where the temp is 65 deg and heading to 72 deg with big T-storms on the way.

Yesterday we made it to the 2 rail show and pick up a very nice Box Car. Today we will convert it to 3 rail.



WE also racked the leaves, not that you can tell it today. And also cut the grass, maybe for the last time this season.



WE also brought in the Christmas Layout and started to set it up. The wife bought a new tree this year, so we had to adjust the layout for the new tree. Yep the tree is up and today the village will be too.

Gil - you are up bright and early. I have been up, just work has got to me this morning.

Well the Christmas layout is well under way. Boards and track is down and tested. The tree is up and lights test. The village houses are on the layout. The details will be added in the next couple of nights



We converted our 2 rail box car to 3 rail and it also runs good. I have to take some pics of it yet.

Why cant you operate two raois cars on 3 rail track? Why change the trucks?
