Does anyone know a good source here in the USA for papers that are dyed in the pulp?

Regular construction paper is not suitable for card modelling - too rough and too much prone to fading.

The ideal paper ought to be:
    1. good for card modelling - of course.
    2. smooth (but not glossy) inkjet-printable surface
    3. available in a large variety of colors, especially more than one shade of grey
    4. each color available in several thicknesses (paper, light card. heavy card)
    5. acid free
    6. fade resistant
    7. preferably letter or legal size.

So, far I found light grey Hammermill paper in three thicknesses at the local Staples. However, the number of available colors is very limited. Particularly, there is no medium grey available.

Have you tried a scrapbooking supplier?

Check Wal-Mart.......... they carry GP Card Stock that comes in pastel colors.

Also Michaels has some color paper that is Card Stock weight.

    Thanks for your suggestions guys.
I'll keep my eyes open next time I'll go to Walmart and Michael's.

If I find what I need I'll post an update.
