coal mine photos?

Hey Guys since I'm a city boy I have never seen a real coal mine is there any nice clear photos of how a coal operation is put together?

Belg, if you're looking for historical photographs, try this link. Then enter "Coal Mine" into the field and hit 'Search'. On the umpteen pages showing up there are lots of pics and other documents of old coal mines.

Of course you can look for other historical items, too. The American Memory site must be one of the greatest sources for scratchbuilders!

Hey, these links are helping me as well. I built a "coal mine" kit. Now I know how it's suppose to work and what else I have to do to support it. I was planning on using it for another mining operation, and still might, but this stuff is very helpful.
