Christmas is coming......

It's that time of year. The Christmas decorations are coming out! Today Jessica and I strolled through Christmasland at Wal-Mart. I looked through the Christmas villages. Pretty nice, I must say.

I did buy somethings. I bought some snow covered peine trees. (I ordered some Faller through the local hobby shoppe too.) A cool looking fiber optic tree! Yes, I know what you are thinking, but it's Christmas! I also got some "snow". This all goes under the tree.

I did order a K-Line trainset, but it's on back order. Looks like another year with h.o. I guess I will use my new Rock Island Doodlebug with some Christmas cars.

What is everyone else doing? I know I have asked this before!

Christmas is coming?

Haven't really thought about it yet. Christmas doesn't really get going here till mid November. Decorations etc don't really go up til then.

Seems a bit silly to go putting snow all over the place, when it's summer! But..... we still do it.

Halloween isn't even here yet !!!!!

'Course Xmas candy will hit the stores November 1st - Thanksgiving still being somewhat a non-commercial holiday,
thank God!

(You can only buy so many turkeys - unless you go with Model Power or regular Life Like, of course.)

I refuse to think about Christmas till November - DESPITE Walthers sale catalogs - so there !!!
