Christmas is a time for window glass

After everyone has opened thier presents this Christmas collect all the bubble pack and boxes with viewing windows in them and you probably get a years worth of window glass. What I do is find all the flat pieces cut them out with scissors, put tissue paper between them and save them for the next time you need window glass that is'nt furnished with a kit or scratchbuilding!!!:eek:

That is a good idea. Of course, being in the graphics field, where clear acetate is not such a "precious" commodity as it seems to be in model RR-ing, I just buy it by the pad, at the local art supply store.

Isn't this the same stuff that's used for the kids report covers ?
I think it comes in different colors and you could possibly make a stained glass window , right ?
