Chat?

I keep finding posts that the chat server is down, and when doing a search all I can find are links to Chat2...which never works for me.

Where is the link to the regular chat?

Chat is, apparently, busted again today! Chat 2 is sometimes very slow to open up once you've signed in.

I find chat 2 is easier to access if I close my firewall.

I'm using a PC, but I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. IE is a piece of bloated junk.

From what I can tell, the problem seems to be a server issue, and not with my browser. Has anyone ever considered opening a chat channel on an IRC network?

Not me.... I use Mozilla Firefox 0.9.2 (Updated last week)

and it works fine (When it's up)

When it's down I get a "Connection Refused" error in Firefox.

Chat 2 needs the latest Javascript to work right - no matter what browser you use....

You wouldn't be using AOL by anychance would you? I found I couldn't get into chat until I tried Internet Explorer.
