CAPTAIN RAPTOR and the Moon Mystery -

Can you think of a better book series, I mean space ships and Dinosaurs!!!

This ship is excellent, and is easy enough for a first time designer, any takers???

It's an F104 with rocket pods on the wing tips

GREAT idea for a model series. Kids (and adult kids) will love them. That is a funky and fun spacecraft. I for one will be watching.

Jon, any info you can send me, I might give it a try. thanks
  6. Looks like the Trident would do for a basic framework to enhance. That is, if I remember correctly. An experimental A/C, French or English, which had a rocket motor in the tail and two ramjets in the wingtip pods.

    Ok, here's what I have:

its some scans from the book,

I mean how can you go wrong with dialog like,

"Could this be the end of Captain Raptor and his brave crew?"

To me its the VTOL that really makes this ship:

The html page above has links to enlargements to all the pics.

it would make a great launcher too.

jon, got the pics downloaded. I might send an email to the illustrator and see if we can get permision to make this. Also maybe he can send me more detailed info on the ship. What are your thoughts?

A fine idea. feel free to point him to my website. I'm sure he'll realize its a great opportunity to get some exposure. I did the same thing when I made up the Flash Gordon rocket, and the illustrator was more than happy to see his work made up in 3D.
