Can one join faces in Metasequoia?

I've got a model from Starlancer I'm re-doing in Metasequoia, and there is an object that is simply floating there, not attached to the body. I'd like to know how to rejoin the part to the body.

    Yep.. one can...

I'm guessing you mean an individual poly (face) = one triangle ? Objects in META can be groups of polys?. To join anything to anything in META, the faces + vertices all have to be grouped in the same [Object] There's a few ways to do that.

One way to join adjacent faces ( in the same Object) ~

*Move/copy both the problem child face/s and the main section /faces, to a new Object ~ (if they aren't already)

*Select any overlapping vertices ( Rectangle tool will work ) then click [Selected] ~ [Join vertices] OR Left-Ctrl + J

    Any help?

I'll try that. I found a way around the problem on one of the models I was doing, but if I run into the problem again I'll try this. Thanks!
