A friend of mine is a major-league Lego-maniac. So I decided to build him a paper craft gift: Ninjatoes' LEGO mini figure, the Luke Skywalker on Hoth version.

Here's some pix of the build so far.

Working on the hands now. THOSE are going to be a challenge.

Looking good! (cool gift, I agree) How tall will it be once complete?

Looks like about a foot tall, or so.

Looks fantastic! I'm loving all of these lego fig builds. I'm considering making the Captain America one after I finish a few other projects

Those hands are tricky! A fun build!

Wow, a foot high, that't amazing! I suppose making one in a 1:1: scale to a real lego minfigure would be even trickier.. :)

I would like to build one of these, but stepping on the little ones in the middle of the night has bruised many a toe, this thing would break your ankle!! :)

Zathros, I too have trodden on many a lego man! Possibly the most painful experience your toe/foot can go trough

Yeah, but how much card to give him strength? ;) and have you ever got a paper cut between your toes? :wacky:

Me says too much, me thinks...

That looks great! Wouldn't be great to build one 4 or 5 feet tall with a trapdoor back. The kids could use it as a toy box or a clothes bin. Put him on wheels to move anywhere.
