The gunwells are ready (you can see 1 of them on page 2)
Or do you have a better inside graphics?

Maybe, when it's a big difference i change it...

tophull part 1 installed..
DAMN that's difficult somehow it warps..
i had to cut a slice in it so that the warping was less..
Lucky enough the cockpit part will fit over the part i cut.
i'm still figuring out how to do the other sides...
there i don't have anything for covering up...hum...

Part 2 of the top hull worked perfect.
I made a cut from outside to the dish-hole.
And it looked great :)

i thought about that cutting....hummm i'm sick too :)
but the detail isn't that great.
all the panels are straight..not with those teeth...
i dont know how that would look i''m afraid i would ruine the falcon

i think this is enough for the backplate...
it looks nice..
Maybe when i got some more time this weekend i put some more details on it, but i think this is it.

Still waiting for the led strip...
the first one had some leds defect...and i've installed it in the cockpit and it looks nice.
The second one is shipped...
So still a few days...and i can close the backside of the falcon..

edit..

I just saw that i forgot the sharkfins on the back...they still have to be installed..

Yes,
Today i have installed the cockpit to the mainbody..
But it didn't fit..damn.
i had to cut some of the detailing from the falcon so that it would fit..
but now it looks nice :)
I'm going to try to attach new armour-plating to the cockpit-tube.
Maybe it looks better...

EDIT..
I compared my falcon with the real deal at studioscale.com but there is something wrong with mine...the tube is not straight..the cockpit is to low.

From all of my own investigations (I had plans to design a 1:50 scale Falcon at one point) the cockpit tube is straight (not angled vertically) and should line up with the top of the side docking sections (the octagonal boxes).
