How old? Hmm! Let see!
In the scenario I am using they have been around for at least 25-35 years. Not all the building but at least two are from the 1930-1935 period. It is now mid 60's to mid 80's.
In the same scenario some improvements, renovations, additions and demolitions did take place. Some buildings survived, other have been demolished to make room for bigger and more usefull one.
The building(s) are the core of the loading-unloading medium capacity yard-wharehouse-depot-shipping place. So it's busy and it's big. Anywhere from 2 to 4 story tall. It's on the edge of the commercial district of X city downtown. There's a busy highway going underneath the yard and giving access to that area of the downtown.
