Is anyone familiar with Broadway's E8 DCC w/sound. If so, what is your opinion and if you know, is it compatible with Digitrax DCC. Thanks.

It should be compatible. DCC systems are set up to NMRA standards , and should be compatible. The only compatibility Issues I have run into involves Soundtraxx sound decoders which take a higher voltage to program than most systems put out. Soundtraxx makes a booster, to solve that issue.
We run a digitrax system @ the Clarksville TN (HO) club. and we have run some broadway HO locomotives without issue, as well as many other brand decoders. Our system will run soundtraxx decoders, it just doesn't pack the power needed to program them without a booster.
