BOWSER HO Model rolling stock

Discussion in 'HO Scale Model Trains' started by railBuilderdhd, Feb 28, 2008.

  1. I was thinking of doing some bidding on a few rolling stock cars that are made by Bowser but I don't know anything about this company and if the models are any good. Anyone know anything about these models?

I've built one of their cabooses...and my brother built a few of their 70ton covered hoppers.

The finished cars look great. I did not find my caboose kit to be challenging at all. I'd highly recommend their cars.

Bowser makes some nice, easy-to-build models of prototypes not offered by other manufacturers, and their line also includes the former Stewart models.
    Bowser "U" channel hopper:

    ACF covered hoppers:

    55 ton "fishbelly" hopper:

PRR H-22 coke hopper (along with several other PRR-specific hoppers):

I believe they're also "made in the USA". ;):-D
