BLI NW2 convert to Kadee!

Has anyone figured out how to easily convert their BLI NW2 to Kadee couplers?

Mine has a short round draft gear box, not a drop in for Kadee #5 or #58.

Have others converted?

The installed couplers hook up with no problem to Kadees so I'm not planning to change them. You're right though, the coupler boxes won't accept Kadees and looks like major surgery would be required. Not worth the trouble IMO.
