Here it is...another Brilliant question from a true Novice.... I would like to test an old postwar 2020 engine and tender car. I have the 1033 transformer, and some track, but no track connector. Are there contact points on the rear panel of this train to give it a quick test? Any help will be surely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well, you could (im assuming it is three rail track) Just cut two 5-10" wires and hook them to the transformer one to each connector on the transformer and then hook one to the center rail of the track and one to an outside rail(doesnt matter which). It is best to just bend them around the bottom of the track, if you want more perminant connections just solder them to the bottom of the track. Let me know how it works, good luck.:thumb:

The easy, fast way is turn it upside down and touch one wire to the center contact and the other wire to the outside wheel. All of them, just in case all are not pickup wheels.
