Assembly of the missile launcher is fairly simple:

And a first test of the spine:

Luckily the ribs fit very well.

Thank you all! :)

OK, back to the missile launcher. The box in the center of the skeleton is glued together.

The launcher is inserted from the top without glueing.

The skeleton is put into the upper body. I didn't need to glue anything, everything fitted like a glove.

Now you will understand why I have cut out that hole:

The launcher cover is laminated to cardboard and firmly attached.

This has to dry completely now. CU later! :)

Before the two halves of the bottom section can be glued together a few boxes and plates have to be assembled.

The small long box belongs behind the hole in the nose:

Two of the red plates are glued to the back of the front landing gear flap:

So the flap becomes more stable and looks better ;) .

That's the compartment for the bomb:

@zathros : I'm sorry for any inconveniences; it seems that the image hoster I use to upload my pictures has had some trouble. I have edited the posts and inserted the image links again. I hope that everything is working fine now. Thanks for notifying! :)

This is coming together BEAUTIFULLY!!!
I am certain that Andrew Probert will be quite proud to see his concept come to life like this!!!
If BSG lasted longer, I could see something like this being developed and used.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Beautiful, fantastic real time build. I am so impressed. My last post was me 1/2 asleep, posing all over the forum. I have misspellings everywhere I think! you do such great work. The support frame is a structural work of art. Very impressive indeed. I love it.

I'm afraid this is not going to happen (at least from my side) because I won't build the Viper in 1:48 scale..! ;)
