My most recent purchase is a 4-8-2 Heavy mountain unlettered. This steamer is beautiful. Hope it runs as good as it looks. I did try it the other day. Started out pretty stiff, after a few laps around the club layout it loosened up, but had a bad clicking noise to it. Found out the problem, just one of the electrical contacts on the the drivers was bent and hitting on the spokes of the driver. Quik fix. Run it again, now it has a small squeak to it.:curse: I will live with it for a while. I noticed it is finnicky with turnouts, as far as wanting to derail and loose electrical contact. Probably bad turnouts. I have pulled about 10 cars with it up a 3% grade with no problems. Overall I would recommend this one to everybody.:thumb:

Can you tell me what the Bachmann part number is on the box? I suspect the reason these are such a monster deal is that they're the first run of the mountains that came out a few years ago.
