Bachmann Industries The new O gauge.

Yes Bachmann has now moved into the fastest growing segment of the model train industry. The big O Gauge!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they have bought Williams Electric Trains effective 9-30-2007.

It will be interesting to see what Bachmann will bring to the O gauge market. However i do hope they keep the tradition of Williams simple engines.

If Bachmann does the same quality job with O standard gauge as they have with 1:20.3 and On30, we should see some good products appear. I would personally like to see some small O standard gauge steam locos (2 rail) so I can have an interchange yard with my On30 equipment.

IIRC Bachman has been selling O scale trains in the UK for a few years; but they're brass RTR.
