I recently upgraded to acad 2008, and Ive already begun working some parts of my models in 3d, is there a plugin out there that will unfold my solids like the ones for rhino and such?

I seriously doubt that there would be a plugin for this. If Autodesk created or supported such a plugin it would be for Max or Viz.

Remember that Autocad is primarily an engineering program. Unless there is some popular form of design that would require the flattening of a 3D model I cannot see it possible unless done by hand.

I did come across several for max, but there are a couple i've found for cad - although they are not by autodesk. they were designed for unfolding sheet metal designs for hvac ducts. its just not quite what I was looking for though so I thought I'd put the question out here...
