I'm operating my small layout using Atlas' DCC System. (Atlas Master) The controller supports three functions - F0, F1, F2. Obviously, for the sound-equipped locos, this means I can only control the headlight, bell, and whistle.
I just got my Christmas present today in the mail, and before it was put away, I was allowed to test-run it.
It's an Atlas Gold Series ATSF Zebra SD24, low-nose, of course. It has QSI sound and the works! I love it!
The thing is, I don't hear any braking noises, and I was wondering if there are any sounds I'm missing out on. I've tried going from high power to low to off, but I still hear no brake squeal. Yes, the engine turbines vary according to speed, which is amazing, but I'm just wondering what other sounds need to be activated or anything.
I've gone through the instruction manual quite a few times... and I'm still confused.
Can anyone graciously offer any help/advice?
