Atlas C-424 Decoder question?

Hello everyone, quick question.... i have an Atlas HO C-424 locomotive that has the light board in it with the dummy 8 pin plug in it. I have a Digitraxx DH121 and a DH142 decoder with a 8 pin quick plug. Can i just unplug the dummy plug in the Atlas locomotive and plug in the decoder? If so, which color wire/pin goes where the white arrow is pointing? Any help or information is appreciated. Thanks!

Steve,either one of those decoders will work.As for wich way it plugs in ,you can see which color wire is on the end and match that up.It will work either way you plug it in,but may run backwards one way.I suggest just plug it in and see if it runs the right direction and the lights work properly in either direction.
