I finally got my TR4A and B set into some semblance of being finished.

Here's what I was trying to achieve

Those look great! A question: What did you use to make the roll up radiator cover? I'm working on a similar switcher, for the NYC, and it also has one of those. I've tried a few things but am having trouble getting the look you've achieved.

Gary,

take a strip of plastic strip 1mm wide and just a bit longer than the radiator. Cut a square of Kitchen (aluminium) foil - like what the Sunday roast gets covered in. Make it the same size as the radiator.

Glue the plastic strip at one end with CA glue and fold over the foil once. Finally, roll up the foil from the other end until you're happy with the length, prime and paint light brown. Weather with a thin wash of earth brown/black acrylic mix.

Here's another one I did
