I in particular mean- like Fleischmann Magic Train or Thomas & friends- but in H0e- I look for such starter sets to implement in H0 the ChRW...

That's really cool, not just a park train or ride on but a place for kids/teens to actually LEARN something!

Looks like they run 30" gauge (750mm) so On30 stuff would work well as a starting point, but there's probably not anything ready-to-run out there.

You could kitbash Bachmann locos and rolling stock to work though!

I do not know of any passenger starter sets in HOe. That doesn't mean there are none, but I haven't seen any.

If there are no sets available, you will have to kitbash, or scratch build. HOn30 is a possible option, HO scale, using N scale mechanisms, and trucks (wheelsets). In any case, I would look to companies marketing european style equipment.

Sorry for me not being here to respond, but they are out there! Sometimes they pop up on ebay.

Bachmann's Liliput line is probably what you are after. They don't come as sets, but you can get all the components you need.

Here are their locomotives:

I've seen both steam locomotives on the Zillertalbahn in Austria...nice locomotives.

Passenger cars:

Freight cars:

You can pick up N-scale track from Kato, Atlas, Peco, or whom ever you want. Occasionally the Liliput stuff will go for cheap on ebay.

If you want everything to match like in a set, make sure they are from the same Epoch and RR...such as Zillertalbahn Ep V.

Roco's offerings:

Here's a Zillertalbahn #2...
