Any CNW modelers out there?

I am modelling the C&NW in the transition era in Wisconsin/Minnsota. I have just purcahsed the Walthers Trackside Structure Kit #933-3530. I chose it as it is a near replica of an interlocking tower in my home town of Eau Claire, WI. The tower was dark red. I have done some research and found water towers and ice houses that were the same red. I have been using the Polyscale D&RGW Frt. Car Red to approximate the color. As you know the kit comes with a crossing guard shanty and a speeder shed.

I have reviewed all of the CNW books that I have and am unable to determine what color the C&NW painted their Speeder sheds. I assume that they were probably the dark red. I thought maybe one of the forum members would have some knowledge in the area. Can anyone help?

I found some photos of structures in the CNW Historical society, and they loook to be painted grey.
