    Hi all!

I happily stumbled onto this site today and joined right away. I have just started building card models, and I love it. I posted a picture of an odd one that I created for my father, using card, CorelDraw, and an egg!

Anyway, I've only built a few so far, and I'm working on a B-25 right now. The model isn't all that well done, but I'm muddying through it. It's a great hobby so far!

I'm inspired by the absolutely incredible models I've seen on this site. I'm not sure I'll ever get to that skill level, but I'll sure try... I'd love to build a British 1800s ship of the line eventually.

Welcome aboard Greg! I think we all aspire to make something as drool-worthy as Cleo, or Scorpio's Bismarck for that matter

Every step of the journey is just as much fun though!

You're going to like it here

You're obviously a specialist in the eggcartoon style of construction.
    Neat one.

    Anyway, welcome aboard the board!

There are some outstanding shipwrights here. As the closest
thing I get to building a ship is naval aircraft, I sit in awe of some
of the small details these folks come up with. Enjoy your
time here, it's a good place.

    Welcome aboard Greg,

I still have a model of a Boeing 747 EggPlane..., neat thing about this hobby is that you get lots of practice on the way allowing for a better overall proficiency in the modeling arts. Another effect is that it opens your vistas up to the fact that raw material for modeling is just about everywhere you look so the combination of Computer, CAD, Paint Package, and Printer are really just a starting point..., the rest is up to the imagination.

    Best, Gil

    Hi Greg,
You must have noticed that some of us are quite eggcentric. Have a lot of fun here.

    Kind regards,
