Happy St. Joes!!!

Den Svatého Josefa (St. Joseph's Day)

Pekne-li na Svatého Josefa, bývá dobrý rok.
"If it is nice on St. Joseph's Day, it will usually be a good year."

Here in Cedar Rapids' Czech Village, the taverns are serving red beer, the bakeries are selling red bread, and the village is decorated with red flowers.

Ahh yes, St. Patrick's Day followed by St. Joseph's Day. Our oldest son is named Patrick Joseph Day. He was born on the 27th, a week later than expected.

St. Joseph, the carpenter and parton saint of the home. Especially to us that are trying to sell their house. The legend goes that if you bury a statue of St. Joseph upside down near the "for sale" sign and facing the street, it will result in a faster sale. Uhh, we did it, but had him facing the wrong way. Yep, the house across the street sold and ours is still on the market.:eek:ops: :eek:ops:

Anyone looking for a nice house with great views of the Arizona desert has just to ask. I know of a nice, reasonably priced house there. You can view it here
and click on "virtural tour" in the first listing. St. Joe needs all the help he can get on this one.
