American Flyer model 747 HO scale

Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine who doesn't use a computer has asked me to help find the value of his moel train set.

It's an American Flyer model 747 HO scale, never used, and with original packaging.

I don't know anything about model trains and thought this question was more appropriate here than on the buy/sale board.

Does anyone know what the value would be, or where I could find out what it is?

I don't know where you'd ever find out. I checked my guide to electric trains and American Flyer had no number 747 at all. I have never heard of an AF in HO. Marx and Lionel made them, but AF is new to me. Of course, there's a lot of people more knowledgeable than me. Good Luck, I'll keep watching.
